Fortunate Enough

If you are fortunate enough to visit Amish country, it is possible that two things will happen.

1.)  Your heart might break in your chest over how serenely beautiful it is.

And 2.)  You might get a little excited about all the Amish buggies you'll pass along the roadside!

Hope your day is as lovely as this picture!

NOTE:  Be sure to take a little "time out" for yourself and stop by the Time Out For Women website!  I'm honored AND thrilled to have the opportunity to guest post for them today.  Come visit at http://tofw.com/story/650-my-imaginary-conversations-with-great-grandma-grace  Happy reading!

  6. I'd love to visit Amish Country one day. I have watched a couple of different documentaries here on the tv in the UK where teenagers do a swap and live in each others families and it's always fascinating the results.

  8. Hello and thank you for sharing your little trip to Amish country. I used to live in Missouri and lived in an area that had many Amish and Mennonite families. I loved it there.

  11. Ahhh, just one week ago, we were driving by those horse n' buggies and climbing in that field. :) I miss you so much and am so grateful that we got to spend that time together. It was amazing to see it all through your eyes.
Thank you for visiting and being so genuine and kind. Steve and I were just saying how of course, this weekend is beautiful (and not nearly as humid). You were a trooper!

  12. That is some BEAUTIFUL country there! I found you this weekend via the blog walk, but I am definitely following you now...I'm also a bookworm and I ALSO THINK GRAMMAR IS SEXY, though cinnamon rolls are probably the one dessert in the history of desserts that don't do it for me. Wamp wamp.... Have a great week!
