Easter Es Bueno!
Confession: I have eaten WAY TOO MANY Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs over the last several weeks. I am not proud.
Because, OH MY GOSH, YOU GUYS! The eggs are so much better than the Christmas trees or the minis or the original cups. I have a theory it is because the ratio of chocolate to peanut butter is so "spot on" it crosses the line into perfection. Seriously. I could write a whole dissertation about this stuff.
In honor of my chocolate egg eating (and my affinity for springtime and Easter and blossoms on the trees), I thought I'd share a couple of Easter posts from days of yore! Enjoy
1. "Move Over, Martha!"
"I love cupcakes! I cannot stop myself from smiling whenever I see one. A cupcake is happiness in a baking cup. Cupcakes are as cheerful as they are yummy. My heart seems a little lighter, my kids a little less crabby, whenever beautifully frosted cupcakes are nearby."
2. "Easter Craftin'"
"I cracked open the lid, popped a bright-colored gumball in my mouth, and immediately spit it out. It was stale; hard as a rock and impossible to chew. As I looked at the gumballs--cheerful and perky shades of red, yellow, green, and blue--a thought came to me. I could use those in a craft project."
Happy Easter!
